Christmas at Hope Plantation 2020 Virtual Tour
If you weren’t able to make it out to see our annual Christmas at Hope Plantation holiday tour in person, you can still view the online Virtual Tour of the decorated Hope Mansion here.
We have had an incredible group of volunteers that had been very busy decorating the Mansion, King-Bazemore House, and the Roanoke Chowan Heritage Center and we can’t begin to THANK them enough for all of their hard work. Click here for a copy of our program.
If you would like to continue to support us and help with ongoing repairs to the mansion and our other buildings, please consider a Membership to Historic Hope Plantation by going to our Membership page or by making a Donation.

Message from Historic Hope Foundation President
The Historic Hope Foundation acknowledges the emotional and psychological impact that the recent killings and the daily experience of racism have on African Americans and others in our communities. We express our deepest sympathy to the families and communities of George Floyd (a Fayetteville, North Carolina native) and far too many before him whose needless deaths were the results of unjustified violence. We will continue to embrace our role as a member of Bertie County communities and offer space where people can come together for conversations across racial lines that can help overcome local and nation division.
Turner Bond Sutton, President
