Our Christmas Open House was a wonderful Success

Thank you to all of our incredible volunteers for decorating with all the fresh greens and beautiful decorations.  We were so fortunate to have beautiful weather and ended up having one of our largest turnouts.  Thank you to all that attended.  Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from all of us at Historic Hope Foundation.

Dr. Warren Milteer’s Presentation and Book are Available online

Dr. Warren Milteer’s presentation entitled ” Exploring Free People of Color in North Carolina” at our recent Family History and Genealogy Fair can now be seen on the Museum of the Albemarle’s Youtube channel – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SGu2wxvQw7g.   Copies of his book can be purchased from our on-line bookstore.

Come and Visit us at the Windsor Farmer’s Markets on Friday

Historic Hope will be at the Windsor Farmer’s Market on Fridays from 11:00 am until 6:00 pm.  Fresh Vegetables, Herbs, Flower Plants, Bread and Handicrafts will be available.  All sales go to support the gardens of Historic Hope. Drop by the Market on Fridays and pick up a little something!
